Oh, change of seasons! Sometimes, when it gets cold, the only thing I want to do all day is to stay in bed like this cute dog Frankie.
I personally feel that it is much easier to work out and move in general when the weather is sunny and warm. Unfortunately, Chicago is not sunny California(.
Over time, I have learned that when in the evening I set an intention to go to the gym the next morning; that thankfully works for me. There is lots of power in our intentions. We should use this to our advantage.
As every person, I certainly have days when working out outside does not seem like the most attractive option. For those days, I love to pick exercise video with my favorite trainers and have fun at home! It gives me the opportunity to vary my exercising and enjoy every minute of it — one day it can be relaxing yoga, another day — ballet or something intense if I need to reduce my stress level.
The only thing you need to feel better is to start moving. It is always mood lifting process!
