Summer calls for spending as much time as possible outside. Sometimes, after a fun active day, there is no desire to cook dinner, on these days we love to whip up a quick green smoothie. Today it is our long-time favorite, — easy, fulfilling, and nutritious avocado smoothie.
Even though summer is almost over, I can not let it go without sharing one more smoothie recipe. This smoothie can be a perfect breakfast, lunch, or dinner option. Wonderful avocado full of healthy fats so good for our bodies that, in my opinion, everyone needs to befriend this fruit, oh, yes, I have not mentioned yet that avocado technically is a fruit. Let’s keep it short today. Here is the recipe. I hope you will enjoy it!
Avocado Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 banana or fresh/frozen berries for a less sweet option
- ½ avocado
- Big handful of spinach
- 1-2 celery sticks optional
- 2 tbsp of hemp protein powder
- Lemon juice
Instructions
- Blend all ingredients together. Dinner is served!
