Walnut Turmeric Balls

1 · Dec 8, 2017 · Leave a Comment

December ⛄. It is all about snow, the excitement of upcoming holidays, and yeah… college final exams. This is the time of the year when demanding school environment requires all my attention. For those days it becomes essential to be mindful of food choices. It is so easy to skip a meal or grab an additional cup of coffee when we are busy. My solution is to be prepared and always have a healthy snack to-go. It keeps my energy level optimal especially when I do not have time for a regular meal between classes.

Recently, I found a brilliant snack idea at spinach4breakfast.com, and I am so excited to share it with you here.

“Easy-to-make, yummy and nutritious” is probably the best description of these turmeric balls. They can be a perfect snack for a busy student like me or anyone else! Additionally, they are quite beautiful too. This is important, right? 🙂

Almost like a broken record, I keep repeating how great turmeric is, especially for our immune system in winter months. Making these balls will be an easy and delicious way to include this superfood in your diet. Kids will love it too!
