There is no such thing as “too many greens” … Especially in a morning smoothie during summertime. It is like a big hug for your belly ;). In this post, I share my favorite video recipes for refreshing green cocktails from recognized experts in the wellness world.
Honestly, today I was planning to write a new dessert recipe, but the weather in Chicago turned out to be incredibly hot, and it does not make me think about anything but refreshing green cocktails.
Since I already shared a few of my smoothie ideas in previous posts (you can check it here, here, or here) today, I will go further and share sources of my inspiration. These four videos contain not only nutritious recipes but also a significant amount of information about the health benefits of its ingredients. The authors are incredibly talented people who make the world to better, inspiring others to change lifestyle, drink more green smoothies, and experiment in the kitchen. Many of them are well-known experts in wellness world.
I hope that these video recipes will have the same inspiring effect on you as they have on me). And, of course, they will make you want to try them immediately.

I’m sure that after watching these videos, you can make a smoothie even with your eyes closed!) I am so happy if you are!
The most important thing is to understand that there are no strict rules for making such drinks. The primary recommendation for optimal benefits is to keep the ratio of 70% greens, 30% fruit. I want to highlight, that you do not need to run and buy expensive superfoods if you do not have them in your kitchen. The main ingredients and sources of fiber, vitamins, and antioxidants are GREENS and FRUITS. Coconut water can also be easily replaced with home-made nut milk or just water.
Do not be discouraged if you are not at the point when green smoothie is the right fit for your breakfast or snack. The wellness journey is a lifelong endeavor, and that’s amazing if you have already chosen this path! First, try other smoothie recipes I have shared and notice how much energy it gives you. When you will be ready for a green smoothie, try the simplest one: a frozen banana + handful of spinach + cup of unsweetened almond milk + lemon juice. I am sure eventually, you will like it!
